Zsa Zsa Gabor photographed by Allan Grant, 1961
When I was a little kid, this woman seemed the epitome of glamour. Blonde and bubbly, with big diamonds and lavish dresses, purring “daaaahling” in that delicious Hungarian accent. She was decadence personified. The kind of lady who would never tell her age, I wasn’t at all surprised when, after she was arrested for smacking a highway patrolman (for insolence, no doubt), it turned out she’d been carrying a fake driver’s license for years.
Turns out Zsa Zsa isn’t doing so well.
Quick, close your eyes tight and think of something sparkly.

I’ve been half-heartedly collecting images over the past couple of months as kind of inspiration points for a photoshoot I’d like to one day do - except I am one of the worst when it comes to styling others (this is why I’m a writer). Do any of the other wornettes want to take this on?
